MPR Tech's Standardization Work Attained Remarkable Achievements

2016 Annual Meeting of National Technical Committee on Press and Publication Standardization Administration of China (hereinafter referred to as Annual Meeting) was held in Beijing on Nov 16th, 2016. MPR Tech was awarded to be one of the first batch of standardization base -- ISLI Standard Industry Base, and obtained the title of "Advanced Unit of Standardization" at the Annual Meeting. MPR Tech's standardization work was highly recognized, and attained remarkable achievements.
With caring and strong support from CPC and the Chinese government, the link identifier and standard of multimedia print reader, which are the core part of All Media integrated Publishing Solution technology system, were published to be International Standard Link Identifier (ISLI) and China National Standards of MPR Publication. All Media integrated Publishing Solution technology system, which is from MPR Tech, is based on the philosophy that "to make supply and access of content resources more diversified, easier and more valuable, to enable content resources holders to have effective control in the context of Internet, and to make content resources safer". The International Standard Link Identifier (ISLI) was established on the basis of China National Standards of MPR Publication. The above-mentioned standards were highly praised during the Annual Meeting.
Wu Shangzhi, the deputy director of State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television of the People's Republic of China (SAPPRFT), expressed that ISLI is a significant breakthrough of Chinese industry standard on the international stage, and the ISLI should be vigorously promoted in the application in China.
Zhang Yijun, the head of Digital Publishing Department for SAPPRFT pointed out that the official release of ISLI standard and establishment of ISLI Registration Authority in Hong Kong of China will have a significant and positive influence over the management of digital resources in China.
Wang Li, the deputy director of Industrial Standards Department II for Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China (SAC) remarked that the release of ISLI standard is great success in the standardization work of Chinese press and publication industry, the standard is important for press and publication industry, and it has advanced the development of the whole information content industry.
During the Annual Meeting, the organizer held workshop about ISLI Application, Feng Hongsheng, the deputy director of Digital Publishing Department for SAPPRFT, Li Dongfang, the supervisor of Department of International Cooperation for SAC, Cai Xun, the international standard expert, ISLI RA CEO Rick Lv, the representatives of ISLI system TP(Technology Provider)and SP(Service provider), all of them gave the respective speech, and discussed the application of ISLI standard in integrated publishing, logistics and knowledge service. The workshop not only shows the importance of ISLI standard in the Chinese press and publication standardization, but also will benefit the implementation and application of ISLI standard.
