ISLI Technology is Hot at the Annual Conference of Nationwide Comprehensive University Presses Held in Guangzhou

Annual Conference of Nationwide Comprehensive University Presses was held in Guangzhou from November 16th to 17th, 2017, the Annual Conference was hosted by Association of Chinese University Presses(ACUP) and organised by Jinan University Press(JUP), ISLI technology became hot topic at the Conference. Li Zhengfang, Chairman and President of MPR Tech, was invited to address the event.
With 'Specialization and Development Strategy of Digitized Transformation and Upgrade' as the theme, the Conference set different parts like keynote speech, exchange of experience and group discussion, and gathered 19 comprehensive university presses nationwide to participate in the meeting. Wang Chunlin, Secretary General of Association of Chinese University Presses(ACUP), and Bi Yanlin, Deputy Secretary General of ACUP, presented the meeting, and Wang Chunlin delivered the opening speech.
Concerning digitized transformation and upgrade of publishing industry, the Conference emphatically probed into the application of ISLI technology in publishing industry, Jinan University Press, as model unit of ISLI technology application, shared their experience with the attendees. On October 2017, JUP became the first press to deploy root server Pattern-P System(ISLI Integrated Technology System for Contents Resources) for journalism, publishing, radio, film and television industry transformation and upgrade, and started the application of ISLI technology in an all round way. Xu Yixiong, President of JUP, made a speech with the theme of 'probe into the development of university presses' specialization', taking the ISLI products from JUP as an example, he introduced about the latest state of digital publishing in JUP.
Li Zhengfang, President of MPR Tech, and Zuo Meili, Special Assistant for the President, made particular introduction of ISLI standard promotion and application and the use of root server.
The attendees acquired systematic knowledge of ISLI standard system through the event. For MPR Tech, we will actively collaborate with nationwide university presses in promoting ISLI technology application from the aspect of technology and technical support.
