May 2011 The proposal of International Standard Document Link (it changed its name to International Standard Link Identifier in Jun, 2013) was approved by ISO and the working group for it was established, which consisted of ten experts from China, France, Germany, USA, Sweden, Kenya, and Russia. An expert from China acted as the convener.
November 2011 Li Changchun, a member of Central Politburo Standing Committee of the CPC, visited MPR Technology.
December 2011 Five national standards of MPR publication were published by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China(AQSIQ) and Standardization Administration of China (SAC). The standards were implemented in China from March 1st, 2012.
March 2012 The MPR project and its related technology were listed as one of key projects in national culture development and reform during the Twelfth Five Year Plan period, major industry upgrade projects and major projectsof GAPP.
May 2012 During the 8th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industry Fair, GAPP held the “MPR National Standards Application Show”and a high-end forum whose theme was National Standards of MPR Publication and Upgrade of Publishing Industry.
July 2012 The project of “MPR Multimedia Compound Link Code” was listed as one of major projects of the cultural industry in the GuangdongRevitalization Plan of Cultural Industry.
November 2012 Industrial standards of MPR Publication (CY/T58.1-2009)won the Standard Award of 2011 Shenzhen Science and Technology Awards.
December 2012 The launch ceremony of three provincial pilot bases of industrial application of MPR national standards was held in Zhuhai.
January 2013 Thecommittee draft of ISDL was approved and the development of ISLI proceeded to the enquiry stage.
May 2013 The meeting on promoting the application of MPR national standards was held in Beijing, markingthe formal start of promoting the application of MPR national standards.
