The forum on industrial application of MPR national standards was held in 9th July during the 5th China Digital Publishing Exposition. During the forum, presenters introduced remarkable achievements of the standardization work in the field of press and publishing, and pointed out that promoting the industrial application of standards in digital publishing would be a top priority of the standardization work in the field of press and publishing in current period.

Sun Shoushan, deputy director of State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, saidin the written speech, that MPR national standards are an important tool for upgrading the publishing industry. He hoped that as the publishing industry continued to deepen the system reform, enterprises in the industry should also be more sensitive to new, advanced technology, strengthen cooperation with relevant technology companies so as to speed up integration of new technology and traditional publishing, and use the promotion of MPR national standards as the opportunity to accelerate the transformation and upgrade of traditional publishing industry and strengthen the influence of press and publication.
