ISLI + AR Publishing will Get off the Ground across the Board

On December 10, 2017, staff from Digital Publishing Company of Guangdong Provincial Publishing Group and MXR Software Technology Co., Ltd. visited the headquarters of MPR Tech in Shenzhen Science & Technology Park, and joined hands with MPR Tech to hold a meeting on "ISLI + AR publishing". They talked about the work on "ISLI + AR publishing" and how to get it off the ground across the board swiftly.
Li Zhengfang, Chairman and President of MPR Tech, Qu Biru, General Manager of Digital Publishing Company of Guangdong Provincial Publishing Group, Zhou Zhiying, Chairman and President of MXR Software Technology Co., Ltd., and supervisors of product and technology department from each company participated the event.
The implementation of "ISLI + AR publishing" and application of "ISLI + AR publishing" in digital textbook publishing field were thoroughly discussed, and they eventually reached agreement as below:
1. ISLI technology system will get through to AR digital publishing system and they can support each other.
2. ISLI technology system will support the digital textbook production and publishing system.
3. Teaming up to form ISLI/AR publishing standard.
4. Promoting the collaboration of SAPPRFT Key Laboratories of Publishing Integration & Development and Laboratory of Science & Standard, and putting forward some innovative products and norms.
5. Building strategic partnership.
In January 2017, State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television of the People's Republic of China (SAPPRFT) has issued Notice about Implementation of ISLI National Standard, and decided to set up "China ISLI Registration Centre". The notice demands the application and use of ISLI identification mark and its symbol in official publications(including book, newspaper, periodical, audio & video works, electronic publication, Internet publication, and their reprint and second editions) in China (excluding Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan) from July 1, 2017. Hence foundation can be laid for the press and publishing companies in their digitized application like link-building and codification of information content resource management will be enhanced.
MPR Tech will join hands and partner closely with Digital Publishing Company of Guangdong Provincial Publishing Group and MXR Software Technology Co., Ltd. to promote the application of ISLI standard in AR publishing field, and will achieve the application of ISLI + AR in textbook publishing field first, which will be quite important for the deep integration of AR technology and digital publishing.
